Delete Your DocThings Account

You can request deletion of your DocThings account and associated personal data even if you no longer have the app installed.

Delete your account in the app

The fastest path is Settings → Delete account in the DocThings app.

The server account enters a seven-day deletion grace period. This device is erased immediately after the server accepts the request. Signing in within seven days may restore server data, but device data stays deleted.

Request deletion without the app

Email [email protected] with the subject DocThings Account Deletion Request. Send the request from the email address associated with your DocThings account so we can verify the request.

We will respond within 5 business days.

What deletion covers

DocThings deletes your account and associated personal data, including your symptom and restriction log data. Symptom and restriction log data is retained while your account is active; deleted within 7 days of account deletion request.

Termination of your account does not automatically require immediate deletion of records we must retain for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or legitimate business purposes.

The seven-day grace period applies to server data. Signing in during that period restores server data. Data erased from a device is not restored by the grace period.
